Youth Ministry Logo The Youth Ministry partnership between St. . Charles', Gosforth, Holy Name, Jesmond and the Sacred Heart, North Gosforth, has at the heart of everything it does the following mission:

"To equip our young people with the tools they need to live as Catholic Christians in today's world."

We aim to do this by offering young people the opportunity to socialise, to participate in the liturgy of the parish, and by reaching out into their schools and communities to meet them where they are at.

The youth groups aim to combine social time with a chance to think a bit more deeply about out relationships with each other, with the wider world and with God.

The format includes games and activities, social time with a tuck shop. The chance to stop and think is an important part too, because if we can't think and talk about God in a Catholic youth group, then where can we?
